Eddy HR's custom privacy settings let you define who can see and edit an employee's pay information and Social Security Number. The custom settings are found under "Admin Settings" in the global navigation bar.
The Custom Privacy page is divided into two sections. One for Pay information settings, and the other for setting who can view/edit social security numbers.
The Pay Information settings cover pay rate, historical pay, and bonus history. Those with the ‘owner” role can always view and edit pay information. You can allow HR Admins to view pay information, and they also be allowed to edit it. Managers can be allowed to view pay information for all employees in their management chain, but can never directly edit it. And employees can always view their own pay information, but can never edit it.
The Social Security Number settings let you define who can view and edit an employee's Social Security Number. Owners can always view and edit all employees' Social Security Numbers. HR Admins can be allowed to view all employees' Social Security Numbers, and can also be allowed to edit them. Employees can always view their own Social Security Number, but can never edit it.
