Sometimes an employee will make a mistake and request the wrong dates. Other times, an employee might request time only to realize at a future date that they will no longer be needing to take the days off that they originally requested. Luckily, Eddy allows employees to withdraw time-off requests with just a few clicks.
Viewing Upcoming Time-Off Requests
Employees can withdraw time-off requests from their employee profile. They simply need to navigate to the “Time Off” section of their profile, and they will be able to see any upcoming time-off requests in the “Requests” section near the bottom of their screen.
Any requests they have made that have not been paid or denied will appear here. The status of their request will be shown as either “Pending” or “Approved.”
Withdrawing the Request
When you locate the request you wish to withdraw, you can click the three-dot icon located on the far right of the request. Clicking the three-dot icon will display a menu where you’ll see the “Withdraw Request” option.
Clicking “Withdraw Request” will trigger a confirmation to display on the screen. This confirmation will explain that by withdrawing the time-off request, it will be removed from your upcoming time-off schedule and you’ll no longer be able to seek approval for the request from your company.
If you wish to proceed with the withdrawal, simply click the “Yes, withdraw my request” button. Clicking this button will delete the request.
